Every challenge is an opportunity to lead, every voice has the power to inspire, and every step you take can spark lasting impact. Being a Pathfinder means choosing purpose over passivity and action over excuses. Together, you are not just witnessing the future—you are shaping it. Hello Pathfinders and Mentors,

I am currently developing my project, Digital Skills and Media Empowerment for Youths, which aims to equip young people with practical digital skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and personal development.

As I move toward full implementation, I would appreciate guidance on:

* Advice from experienced Pathfinders who have successfully implemented community projects.
* Guidance on sustainability, fundraising, and impact measurement.
* Networking opportunities with individuals working in digital skills, youth development, media, and entrepreneurship.
* Mentorship and constructive feedback to strengthen the implementation process.
* Connections to potential partners, organizations, or professionals in youth empowerment and digital skills development.

As the project moves toward full implementation, support in identifying funding opportunities, sponsorships, grants, or resource partners would also be highly appreciated. While I am actively exploring local partnerships and community-based solutions, access to networks and opportunities would significantly enhance the reach and sustainability of the project.

I remain committed to transforming this vision into a practical and sustainable initiative that empowers young people with relevant digital skills, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.

Yesterday I went to an event organized by young people active in the Ethiopian orthodox church. The event was very well organized and had a massive attendance. Sitting there I thought about the critical role religion, in particular various forms of Christianity and Islam, plays in young people's life today. I wonder to what extent Africa Unbound's emphasis on agency, curiosity, purpose, reverence for life, and imagining different futures compliments or challenges traditional religious teachings across the continent. Looking beyond religion, how do educational systems, mostly based on memorization, support or hinder freedom of thought? Family expectations and collective trauma must also have some impact, as we've discussed in the past. Any thoughts?
