Practicing Excellence, Authentically and Soulfully

In partnership with Addis Ababa University (AAU), Ethiopia’s premier higher learning institution, Africa Unbound is implementing a talent development program aimed at helping students prepare for entry level jobs across the continent and beyond. The goal of the talent development program is to support high-potential students become high-performing professionals.

Through a unique learning program, continuous reflective process, and individual and group projects in which young women and men participate to develop a variety of skills, participants will have ample opportunity for self development, build a strong employability portfolio, and contribute to the development of their communities

Students enroll in the program during their second year and are expected to stay fully engaged for 2-3 years, until they graduate.  The goal is to create and sustain vibrant Communities of Practice through a variety of activities that challenge and nurture students to learn about their own ability to be creative and solve problems.

This innovative program is also enriched by partnerships that are under development with various universities and organizations around the world.  These partnerships bring together students, professors, and practitioners from different countries to learn together by engaging in specific projects that offer opportunities to solve real world problems.  For questions about partnership development, please send an email to Info@AfricaUnbound.org.

Following the successful implementation of the program at AAU, the Talent Development program will be rolled out to private and public universities across the country.
